Volunteers Support USMC Rally Point

Last month, USO DFW volunteers had the honor of supporting 80 Marines traveling through DFW Airport on their way home from a deployment in Asia. During their layover, the group utilized our office and flex space at the airport while waiting to be transported to a local base.

Our dedicated volunteers ensured the space was welcoming and well-stocked with drinks, food, and neck pillows to help the Marines rest and recharge. Captain Eldiz shared, “It was a long travel day, and having a safe, quiet space to decompress was exactly what we needed. The USO volunteers made a difference and their generosity was top-notch.”

We’re proud to support our service members and stay true to our mission by providing meaningful care and comfort during their journey.
